We have amazing community partners, who help us make sure that our warm wool socks and winter accessories get to those in our community who need them most.
Community Care West Niagara is a first responder when it comes to aiding those in financial hardship, specifically when it comes to assisting with necessities. Socks for Change are a fabulous non-profit agency that supports our clients with new warm socks throughout the year, especially during the winter months.
This organization helps us with many of our programs such as the back to school program, Christmas hampers, and our client clothing room. We also keep these items available for our clients throughout the year.
Socks for change are an essential part of Community Care West Niagara as we tackle the changing weather seasons. Our clients give us positive feedback and are thankful for having access to these items. They mention that they don’t have to worry about going without while they are trying to stay warm. Rather than spending money on essentials like socks, they are able to pay other bills such as hydro, rent and water.
Socks for change promote foot health by preventing damage while wearing shoes and also absorbs moisture while creating warmth and comfort.
